Your first appointment with our dentist office.

Upon making your appointment with our Plano dental office, you will be greeted by our receptionists, Brenda and Julie.

1. They will have you fill out very minimal paperwork, including your dental insurance information so we can assist you and file it for you.



2. We will take a full series of mouth X-rays to help us in our dental treatment planning so our dentists give you the most thorough exam possible.



3. Our dental hygienist will clean your teeth and assist the dentist in making a specialized treatment plan for you.



4. We will discuss your dental concerns and your past dental experiences to give the highest level of treatment for you.



5. Finally, we will give you a prioritized list of your treatment plan and discuss the procedures we feel are necessary. As an aid, we will use our intra oral camera to help you understand your treatment. Also, we offer nitrous oxide to all of our patients at no charge to allow them to be as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

We will make your first visit convenient and enjoyable as possible!

Financial Information and Arrangements

• United Healthcare Dental Plans.

Please contact us in regards to your dental plan and if we participate.

We also encourage you to check with your individual insurance company which will be able to provide you with your current plan information and dental provider participation. Many insurance carriers do allow you the freedom to choose your dental provider which would allow you to see the dentist of your choice.

Our dental office offers a variety of payment options. We do accept direct payment of benefits from your insurance plan but require your estimated co-payment to be paid at the time of service. We offer a choice of payment options: cash, check, Mastercard, Visa and Discover. Flexible finance plans are also available with a choice of no interest and extended payment through CareCredit. Payment in Full

• For individual patient treatment plans, which exceed $500.00, we offer a discount for those patients that pay in full with cash or check.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. If for any reason the estimated amount is not paid by your insurance company, it becomes your obligation.

Insurance

As a courtesy to our patients, we will file your insurance claims for each visit. The fees we charge for services are based on the procedure that is to be done. The fees are the same regardless of whether or not insurance is involved. Your policy may base its allowance on a fixed fee schedule which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that different insurance companies and dental plans vary greatly in the types of available coverage. If you have any questions regarding your dental coverage, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly. We will be glad to file pre-determination of benefits with your dental insurance carrier before your treatment.
